Our Story
It all started at home.
When changes in my career led me to bring my youngest son home from daycare, our daily routine had to change too. I was working remotely, parenting, and figuring out how to create an environment at home where he could continue learning, playing, and developing throughout the day.
My first idea was to create a guide for other parents like me—parents navigating career changes, childcare transitions, remote work, or simply looking for ways to create a meaningful learning space at home. I began thinking about how an ordinary home office or spare space could become a simple at-home classroom without requiring a huge budget.
As I created that learning environment for my son, I searched both in stores and online for affordable educational materials. There were plenty of learning activities available, but I kept noticing something I wanted more of: representation.
I wanted my Little Sir to regularly see children who looked like him reflected in the worksheets, activities, and educational materials he used.
So I began creating my own.
Using my son as inspiration, I started designing learning activities featuring characters and images he could identify with. His response was something I’ll never forget. He was excited to see a little boy who looked like him. He recognized himself in his learning materials, became more excited to engage with his work, and took pride in what he was accomplishing.
That experience changed the direction of my original idea.
What began as a plan to help parents create learning spaces at home grew into something bigger: Little Sir’s & Co.—a place for meaningful early learning resources and experiences designed to help Little Sirs feel seen, build confidence, stay curious, and discover the joy of learning.

How one little learner changed everything.
Creating learning experiences at home wasn’t entirely new to me. Years ago, when my oldest son was little, I would create simple activities at home using ordinary paper, creativity, and whatever resources I had available.
Nearly two decades later, I found myself doing something similar with my youngest son—but this time, I began searching online and in stores for ready-made learning materials. As I searched, I noticed something was missing: I wanted to see more children who looked like him.
That’s when something clicked: I could create those materials myself.
Seeing his excitement when he recognized himself in his learning activities helped transform something I had done as a mom years before into the inspiration behind Little Sir’s & Co.
